Choices choices... help me decide...
I'm doing my new front brakes in a week or two. I've got two packages to decide between, both around $200.
1. Powerslot Rotors and Hawk HPS pads or...
2. Drilled and slotted Brembo rotors and Axxis Metal Master Pads
I've never used any of these, so help me decide guys, I have about a week to make up my mind.

I have the Powerlot Rotors and Hawk pads and love them. So i'd say go with that. I would also get some Goodridge stainless steel brake lines. Never had any experience with the Brembo rotors though. I used the Axxis Metal Master Pads and they work well also.
I got the same setup powerslot w hawk hps..i say it doesnt make that great of a difference from OEM I just hope the rotors last longer..
go with brembo blanks and hawk hps..heard it cheaper and last the same amount of time..and stoppin power is same
do a search there is a ton threads on this

Does Brembo make rotors with slots and drilled. I don't think they do. There are some on ebay where they buy cheapie, non-zinc plated Brembo blanks and drill and slot them themselves. I'd stay away from those. I think Brembo makes slotted rotors and drilled rotors. But not both on the same rotor.
1. Screw slotted or x-drilled unless you're only doing it for looks. Blanks are BETTER for street driving (and most track driving, for that matter). Go with some Brembo blanks.
2. Hawk HPS are far superior for normal driving than any other pads, IMO (and I've used alot of different pads). Good cold and hot bite, litte to no fade, smooth braking, low, low dusting, and no material transfer onto the rotors. go with them

I recommend NOT using metal masters or ultimates if u care about dust....I currently have ultimates on my 2k2 and use to rock metal masters for my 96....they both dust like crazy.....biting power is definitely better than OEM though
I got powerslot rotors and ceramic axis pads and the pads suck. Never buy ceramics they make alot of dust and they squeak and very low braking speeds go with hawk and powerslot or blank brembos!
