questions regarding axle change and misc.

I'll be getting my axles changed within the week. Just wondering if there is anything else that is common [things that are a couple bucks] to replace while the mech is down there. bushings and the likes. I'd like to get as much out of the hourly labor charge as I can.

edit// the main thing i'm trying to do is to get the car winter ready. brakes and tires are decent, but the axles are busted. I'll be changing the PS and alternator belts as well.
