Im in need of 2 new half shafts. everywhere i go they seem to be so specific with the abs, tc, and all that stuff. My car has no ABS or TC and it is a 5sp lsd. is there a reason why for example an axle made for a 5sp lsd with abs wont fit my car?

 

Good question where I want to hear also a good detailed answer: luckily this forum can offer. I want to add one q more: lots stanza parts fit, howabout the axle, rubber, joint?

I suppose difference lies 'just' how this ring is attached: cannot see any difference if u go non ABS. Lets see how gurus answer... Is it b/c of the ring, what are differences?

I had an abs axle on my VG auto when i pulled it out and it doesnt have abs. so it'll fit.

P.S. TC = traction control. but i dont think maxs came with it now that i think of it.

 

Traction control uses the same sensors as the ABS brakes so that's prob why they all ask about TC.
