Bridgestone RE950 or G009?
Bridgestone RE950 or G009?
Currently have the RE950's and wondering if the G009's are better? How about snow traction? I'm in Minnesota. I got 40K miles out of the RE950 and very impressed with the dry and wet performance. What do you think?
Try reading the reviews on Tirerack or the Tire forum here. Personally, living in the midwest, I have two different sets of tires and wheels. I run 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 rubber mounted on SSR Integral GT-1 wheels during the non-winter months; they're about $170/tire and worth every penny. In the winter, or as I like to call it, the time God forgets about us, I have stock wheels with 205/65/15 Yokohama Avid Touring tires. I haven't been in a situation yet (knock on wood) where I needed better tires.

just bought the G 009s and i love them. granted the tires i had before were **** and not quite bald but gettin there. in salt lake we get some pretty heavy weather and 2 weeks after i got them the streets were almost flooding from so much rain. i, stupidly, took a turn at about 30 mph, which i highly dont recommend, but the tires stuck like glue. there was no slippage at all. so if you're lookin at new tires dont half *** it, get something that wont let you down. on tire rack they are the 2nd best all weather high performance tire. i took the tire rack paper i printed off with the price to the bridgestone dealer near me and they automatically gave me that price- $66 a piece which is a lot better than the $95 at Les Schitt
and the G 009s are more aggressive looking imo
