hey guys was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a trunk for my 96 maxi...i found it once and have not been able to find it again please help me out thx peeps...
...or if anyone could tell me the difference b tween the 96 to 97 trunk b sides the lights than that would help also

 

only difference between the 96 and 97 trunk is the lights, harness, and maybe trunk latch. Cosmetically they look different but both fit the same.

the trunk you found was a CF trunk? are you looking for a cf trunk for 95-96?

 

Redlinemax.com has a CF trunk for the 97-99 if that is what you are looking for

 

^^ thats where i got mine. my latch works ok, sometimes it doesnt want to lock/close, i have to shut it hard a few times. that line in the back of the 95's isnt on the 97's, but i think it looks cleaner that way. they dont make a 95 c.f. trunk, but the 97 is all good. im thinking about painting the back of mine body color so just the top part is c.f. just like my hood, but that besides the point. i say get the hood first if you can.

I have the Ionic Trunk. The quality of it is really good. It is however for the 97-99.
I have a 96, I just went with the 97-99 CF trunk and swapped tails(red/clears). My trunk latch works just fine. i havent had any issues with it.
