So after test driving teh crap out of a VQ35...I want one

BUT, I will only do 1 color combination
And so far I havent seen this.....How rare are;

2002-2003 6speed LSD white on black leather SE ?

Ebay and Autotrader show none....

And why do I want one? They're just so PIMP....Ive been driving the one mentioned in my sig for about 5 days....and I cant get enough of it. It's definitely a step up. Not JUST the motor....but all around. I think it's time to get something with a bit more touch of luxurious Jap. class w/ stupid options Ive never had before.

LSD did come in 02 ... ...

Now that you mention it ... I do not remember if the White ex/Blk leatehr int was an option, I'll have to check my brochures...

Imagine when you drive one with a few 'tweaks' ... .

Perosonally I like the brakes on my 4g better and it handles much much better but that's because my 5.5g is still on stock suspension.. and the 4g also feels lighter ...

WRX is a "boy racer" car IMHO where the Maxima is and adult entry level luxery car. Big difference.

Hlsd was an option on 02, but it was late availablity. As far as white on black i haven't seen that combo before. Only combo i've seen with with is blond or gray interior. Like this one!!!!!!!http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...dist=17#vdptop

White/Black is not an option. When I was first looking to purchase mine, this was the color combo I wanted. The only way they can do this is if you had special ordered it back then when it was new, and the dealer actually put aftermarket leather in it, and dyed the dash and doors. Trust me I tried everywhere.

Your best option is to buy a white with whatever color that comes with it, and instead of dyeing the interior parts, just go find a wrecked one with black interior or check out the for sale forums for black interior parts, and just do a swap.

I was going to do this, but laziness and money got to me first so I just settled for Black/Black. My other choice was Polished Titanium/Black, but those were scarce also and I didn't have much time to wait any longer. GL bijan.....

You like-a the VQ35, heh? It's good, no? Yes, you like-a the VQ35...(SNL skit)

Bijan, thanks for posting stuff we already know. The 5.5 Gens are bad a$$.

You might be able to do a interior swap. Oss did one on his max, if i remember correctly. But that'll probably be one big p.i.t.a.

See you at the meet.

HLSD was offerred late in 2002. After Dec if I remember right. You may have a hard time finding white on black. White with the mist interior was the popular choice in 2003. Good luck!

I actually got mine new (41 miles on odo) in Feb 2002 with HLSD... and yup, I checked the VIN with Nissan, the transaxle code, etc to verify that I had HLSD.

Yup, my car def had the HLSD. Black leather interior was not offered at all on the white 5.5 gens (stupid call IMO). Although blk/blk is the best color combo EVER, try the polished titanium w/ the black leather. That's as close to white as you can get - and it's hottt!!
This is making me miss my car now.

That's what it says in the maxima brochure you get at the dealer. I have always like white. It was my first choice back when i brought my car in june 02 but dealer didn't have one so i chose majestic blue. I now have polished titinuam w/black leather and i love it. Still have a spot in my heart for white.

White and Black both look sick as hell......black is just soooo unbearabley hard to maintain and keep looking fresh.

My current paint is 7 years old!!! And look how it still shines

All my friends have black too, and there's tooo many black VQ's in ATL.

4th gens def do feel lighter, not that they aren't, but i've driven several 4th gens and agree. brakes on a brand new 5.5gen aren't shabby at all though.

i've always liked black and white maxima's, and the 5.5 silver max have come to my attention, they look very sleek. black, if you maintain regularly will ALWAYS outshine the others
