look at my E46 projectors/bezels (pics)...I have a few questions...

The bezel seems to be part of the rest of headlight chrome/housing...how did you guys seperate this? I thought it was supposed to be seperate?

Also I noticed that I ended up with 2 right side projectors/bezels...any problem with this, or should I demand that I get a left and right side from the seller?

Additionally what type of drive did you use to remove the projector from the bezel/housing?

Also for you E46 single xenon retrofit guys, did you use the OEM bezel or a differnet bezel?

Thanks

The projectors should come off the bezel if you remove the 4 screws. I'm not sure what type of driver that is but they should sell it at Sears.

This is what I used for my bezel:

use a torx bit to take the projectors out. the bezel is clipped onto the projector by two clips. if you try to pop the bezel out w/o taking the projectors off first, you might snap a clip, they're fragile.

Oh yeah it should be fine that you have 2 of the same sides. The projectors should be the same.

This is a genius idea...I think I will use something similar because it will be far easier to cut and such. What is the point behind a bezel anyways? Just to hide the mechanicals of the projector? If there is no point I may just end up painting them a flat silver.

those projectors have tamper proof torx on them, dont forget that and get the regular torx cuz they wont fit.

Basically, it's just there so it looks nice. Mine is sort of a bezel/shroud because it also blocks out the light spilled out from the sides.
