has anyone here managed to fit D2R/D2S bulbs to stock 9004 housing?

has anyone here managed to fit D2R/D2S bulbs to stock 9004 housing?
Whiles I work on my projector retrofit, I would like to slap an extra pair of D2RS or maybe D2S bulbs into my stock housing without rebasing them to 9004 so they can work with my masush!tsa ballasts or hella's. Has anyone here managed to fit them to the housing without re-basing to 9004?
