Basically my car runs like $hit... i have tried everything.. one thing that is left is to check is the ecu itself... IF anybody in the chicago/schaumburg ect... area is willing to let me use try theirs PLEASE PM ME!!!

Things that have been done... new plugs, new grounds, new pcv,new tps, clean tb,clean IACV, new fuel and air filter, checked all coils, new transmission, NO CODES!!! checked injectors/fuel pump... use seafoam regularly, injectors cleaned at Dealer (is that better jeff?)

Symptoms: Bad gas milage, Huge Loss of power, hard starting (sometimes), Poor acceleration, abnormal engine vibrations when in gear...

 

If no one replys, and it is your car and you need to get around, there are many for 35$+ @, yes, you guessed it, www.car-part.com.

Also, you may have better luck in the regional area...

 

There's a good reason no one helps you. You effin' post a seperate thread every time you think you've stumbled across the "solution" to your problem. No one in their right mind is going to search all your threads and try to diagnosis your problem.

Post ALL your ideas in the ORIGINAL thread and maybe you will get somewhere. I think I've been seeing your maxima problems on and off for about 2 months!

 

How does it run like sh*t? Any codes? If you do need an ECU just be lucky you don't have a 5-speed. I needed a new 5-speed ECU to pass emissions and I couldn't find one anywhere(junkyards or online). I finally got enough driving history on the ECU and it passed right before the CEL light came on. I think a new one is $700 from Nissan though.

start with the basic and move up.
