00 cali spec max gold canaster on TB ques.

Hey!!

what is this gold canaster on my 00 maxima do/ what is it? it has a vacum line attached to it...does it have something to do with the EGR system?? I noticed on 2k1 maximas and i30's they dont have the gold thing..

anybody have an idea what it is?
and i have a berk intake!

i think it controls idle level. newer maximas don't have that cause they have drive by wire throttle control.
