is it really that hard to put a wrench on the drain plug and turn it and pull it off?

its not that its hard, oil won't spew all over your arm, your wrench, and your driveway. At least not as much.

I think its a waste of money but too each his own. If you dont feel like getting your hands dirty every few months doing your oil then get it..I wouldnt trust it for the pure fact that something may hit it and drain all your oil in seconds unless you install a tiny camera down there to watch your drain valve

If you scroll down the page it says in the cautions section that if you ever run over any foriegn materil or debris you should pull over immediatly and check the valve and not reccomended for cars with low ground clearance. Sounds like more of a headache than its worth.

Doing an oil change is the easiest thing anyone can do. You say you get oil all over your arm wrench and driveway? Do you leave your arm there while the oil drains? Do you not use a catch pan? That thing is a huge waste of money. If you are that finikey about getting a little bit of oil on your hand then you shouldnt be working on your car in the first place.
