Creaking noises soon after Eibachs installed

About 3 weeks ago I had the Eibachs installed on my 2004 Max. Everything was working luvlee until recently. When I turn the steering wheel(usually to the left) I hear this creaking noise on the passenger side. Could it be the strut has gone bad? or is something loose? I'll probably take it back to the shop where I had them installed next week.

yup your spring is probably not seated correctly. Just jack your car up with a jack and see if the spring is sitting in the collar of the sturt properly. It is isnt you can easily turn the spring to make sure it sits in place.

Would this still be the case even if this wasn't a problem in the beginning?

Yes. There are some movement when you turn the wheels as you drive. On my old car, the front springs needed about 1/4" to 1/2" of room in the cup to avoid being noisy.
