Brakes - size difference GXE to SE

Is there a difference in terms of size/clearance between '97 GXE and SE brakes?

I need to buy winter wheels and want to know if 15" Sport Edition D5 will fit over stock SE brakes. I posted a thread in wheels/tires section but did not get any response ->http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=439820

All brake rotors and calipers from 95-99 are the same size.

If the 2000 Maximas have the same exact brakes as my 1996, then how come my mom's 2000 stops so much easier/better/quicker?

maybe they changed pads...but i am pretty sure rotor size is teh same up to 01....i remember that when i ordered my rotors form stillen....i know it dont stop easier because of weight....2000 are heavier right....who knows...could be a mental thing too
