I'll have to check that out again. I thought the adjusting bolt adjusted them from side to side and not up or down.

You don't need to take the fogs out. I had mine adjusted to point all the way up. Improves visbility a ton, lights up the signs A LOT further and I never, ever get highbeamed. Now I can actually tell when my fogs are on or off.

Adjusting....

I bought OEM fogs from Custom Maxima site, they have a PDF of the install instructions which on the last page shows you how to aim the fogs after installation. If I remember correctly, all you would have to do is take the plastic guard out from the front tire well (a few grommets and a screw - 2 seconds) and then you should have access to the long-thin adjuster.

If you can't find the PDF (i think it was Custom Maxima) let me know and i'll scan my instruction book, I kept it somewhere.

It's hard to explain - after you take the splash guard off you can get to the foglight adjuster, but it's inside the foglight housing. IIRC, there's an X-d area (like you see on a soft drink top for the straw), and that's where you put the screwdriver. On mine I had to break through, then could adjust at will - no problems in many miles of driving.
