I was wondering if aftermarket flywheels actually make a difference on the 4th gens. My friend just got one for his civic when he did a motor swap and it revs alot quicker. Will I notice any gains, if so, what company makes the best for the max.

I have a fidanza in my car and I noticed that it revs quicker. It pulls a little harder after 3k

 

The Fidanzas release some serious improvements after 3000 RPMs! Feels like a turbo...I did however experience slightly less gas mileage due to loss of inertia but the pros outweigh the cons...word to the wise...if you do get a lighter flywheel be sure not to get a too aggressive of a clutch or you will melt the clutch to the flywheel as i learned...very expensive mistake...all in all get a flywheel and smile every time you dirve!
