Check the fuse
Does it work on the highest setting? If not, and the fuse is good, chances are it's the blower motor. Make sure you have power getting to the motor before you go and change it. If there is no power to the motor, trace the circuit back to the switch.

Maybe switch to the vent mode, where it hits you in the face.... Not your feet

Do you have automatic air with digital temp control? If so, there is no resistor, the connector just attaches to the motor. So just check the blower motor, I just had that problem. Basically the bushings on the coil of the motor were worn out. Try hitting it while it's on, see if that knocks a little life into it. I extended the life of mine about 2 months just by hitting it everytime it would not come on. Then I finally replaced it, its pretty easy, remove glove box and right kick panel and just try to wiggle it out.

I found the blower motor for $144 at Jerry Rome. http://www.nissandealer.com/jerry-ro..._home_page.cgi

The blower motor is behind the passenger glove box panel.
Good Luck!!

I had something very similar happen today. We have some of the coldest temps out there today. I started the car and headed inside waiting for it to warm up. I have a '98SE w/auto control temp. I got in and the engine was warm, but NO heat on ANY setting. I thought it was the blower moter but I still got nothing on 'high'. I ended up stopping the car for a few minutes (talking to a friend) and restarting the car.... voila - I have heat! I'm going to keep an eye on it and was wondering if anyone else experienced something similar???

wow - you aren't kidding...

I took a look on Ebay and found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97...QQcmdZViewItem

since my car's blower seems to now work, I'm going hope it was a one time problem since the temp here went way down. BUT if I'm wrong, this looks like a pretty good option.

Thanks!
