Help: Pressure Plate install

My pressure plate doesn't seem to fit all the way over the 3 studs in the flywheel. It fits onto them, enough to hold itself in place, but there is distance between it and the flywheel.
Should it fit snugly, or should the pressure plate bolts pull it into position? Any experienced help would be appreciated!

It will be flush once you tighten the bolts.

There should not be any space between the pressure plate and the flywheel. The holes and the dowl pins are supposed to be a really tight fit. Just get it on as good as you can by hand and then as you tighten up the bolts it will bring the pressure plate down on the flywheel.

Help needed: Clutch Parts

Whelp, hours of labor and my clutch setup doesn't work. Theres a weak grinding noise when I try to put in in gear with car running, regardless of where the clutch pedal is, and it WILL go into gear, but won't send any power to the wheels. Seems as tho the PP and clutch disc aren't interacting, or the input shaft and disc aren't interacting. I've used the following parts from Pinnacle Nissan:
4th gen disc 30100-40U14
5th gen PP 30210-89F00
TO Bearing 30502-41U20
