i've got the 9007 harness and silvania 9007 bulbs.
i decided, for now at least, i'm just going to connect the stock wires to the wires coming off the 9007 harness.
i assumed black and black from both wires would be the ground, but apparently they arent because i've been experimenting with switching different wire connections of the 3 factory wires and the 3 from my 9007 harness, and when i connected those 2 it was very dim.
ANYWAY.
FROM THE FACTORY WIRES i have the colors black, blue, and green.
FROM MY 9007 HARNESS i have the colors black blue and yellow.
can anyone tell me which ones connect to which? right now i have yellow and black connected.
and blue and blue connected.
the headlights turn on but no brights (obviously because i havent connected the other pair)
the difference in brightness of my headlights doesnt seem too noticable so i want to make sure i have it hooked up properly since it seems like a couple different wire combinations work.
frusterating....its like math...

 

stop what you are doing and get a multi meter.
passangers side
black ground
blue low
green high

drivers side
black ground
green low
yellow high

the middle wire on the 9007 is ground
high beam wire is on the same side on both 9007 and 9004
low beam is the one on the other side of the ground

i got the grounds correct, i know that for sure. i just soldered everthignb together but i only completed the passenger side. lets say i got the high and low beams mixed up, what would happen?
i'm gonna go for a drive and see if i can see a difference in the passenger one. man...i need 97 headlights bad.

nothing other than they would work backwards and you would get the little blue light on with th low beams.
