Pass Driveshaft issue
I've read quite a few posts from searching on this subject. I now have my pass axle out of its bracket and off the car, I'm replacing my cv shaft. I can't seem to figure out how to get the shaft that connects the cv shaft to the transmission off of the old cv shaft. EVERYONE else seems to have theirs magically fixed as soon as they get the cv off the bracket... I basically ripped appart the inner cv boot and took the shaft out from that half, but still can't get it from the inner shaft. Any help is greatly appreciated as we all know sundays are great for long car projects, yeah right!
the center bearing has 3 bolts. after you remove them the thing is still rusted on there very soildly. you have to pound the **** out of it. i hate that side with a passion. they are always a bich.
do not pull the halves apart on the new axle, thats a bad idea.
