Heated seats on 95

The bottom of my front seats is not heated. Is that standard on 95 GXE Maximas or mine is broken?

I've got a 95 GLE, and the bottom & lower back areas both get warm. I'd assume it would be the same thing for your GXE, regardless of trim. I'd have it checked out if I were you.

if they bottom of your seat is not getting wrong, there is something wrong with your heated seats. Both of them should heat up

prewired for heat too? (i.e: could you just pick up the heating element from some aftermarket place and it would wire up in the cabin?)

for the last time, it doesn't matter if you have leather or cloth a heated seat is a heated seat, if nissan wanted a plastic seats, then you would probably have the option of chosing if you wanted heated seats also........

Also ona more calm not. car with no pre-wired heated seats don't the plugs, but there is few ways to make a heated seat on our maximas; search around.....

Don't think the heat is prewired (only power seats) - people run their own wiring to the switch and stuff

Yes, the 95 GXE (Canada spec) has heated cloth seats.
But my heaters on the bottom seats doesn't work.

Any idea how to fix it?

hmmm....I have heated seats too....Its called park in the Sun!

but, back to topic, you probably have to take the seat out of the car to fix it.....

Not exactly an expert on this, so look around, but just my two cents.

The passenger seat on my 95 had the same problem. Check your electrical connectors under the seat and make sure they are plugged in good and tight. I took my seat out to install my stereo and found this by accident. I never really cared much about the heated seats because I've found that by the time they get warm I'm usually getting out of the car.
