nice to look at, but I've heard that they don't fit. Can't say from experience maybe it's posted in that other thread. /\

you know i saw a max the other night from a distance, and i thought these were the lights that were on it, and i was like wow but im like it cant be, but now that i see theyre available, looks good IMO. Wondering how good the quality of the glass/build/fitting is, but very nice nonetheless.

If I had a 96, I'd do a trunk and tail light swap before doing those lights. My 2 cents.

you still see the orange because the buld in there is orange. If it was switched to one of those chrome bulbs that light up orange, you wouldn't see the orange. Hope that makes sence.

They could very well be CM tails just wholesaled to independent sellers. The illumination pattern of those tails are horrible. Only the center part of the lense illuminates, not the entire lense...its the way its design, fitment is lousy. Whoever manufactured these totally fk'd up. The best fitting aftermarket tails are the ones made by APC but they are all clear and you have to paint the lower portion red. However, they are no longer available in the market until a few months ago. There were limited numbers and an org member sold them all quickly. I think he might still be auctioning some on eBay but you have to search for it. BTW, I have seen these CM tails on a car in person.

**Edit**
This is the illumination pattern that I am talking about...

They look like cheap pieces of ****, and I'm pretty sure they are too...I too would rather do a trunk and bumper replacement than put those things on my car. They are 'altezza' quality to me.
