Just wondering if anyone has these on there car yet? I'll have mine on thursday, but I just can't wait to see what they look like on.

 

What's a altezza for the max and which years? Never heard of that.

 

max'n, the altezzas are the tail lights with the red circles with the chrome looking plastic around them... check altezzalighting.com, theres a pic of them on there

 

Altezza's are tail lights that look like the ones that come on the IS300's, and a company makes them for 4th Gen Maxima's.

 

95-96 only for now but the 97-99 will be out later....

Thats kewl ive been wondering what there called I was just calling them the kewl looking clear lights with red inserts.

 

If you look around at the post on altezzas, you'll find a photoshopped pic of em on the Max.

isn't that a silver 3th gen max? it doesn't look like a 4th gen from the the back. is that why it looks wierd?

Man, that is one bad conversion job. Hehehe, I thought about using the accord altezza before too... glad I didn't! It's so ugly you think it's photoshoped. Glad the altezza phase is over with...

 

unfortunately this "phase" is just begining with the 4th gen guys. and unfortunately it not ending anytime soon, just take a look at many of todays cars "Altezza style" is becoming an OEM part(Ford Lightning, new Nissan Alty and possibly '02 Maxima)! its far from over!

 

Naw, I mean the phase is over for me... I liked them when the were'nt aftermarkets. Altezza's are spreading like wildfire now. If I was to get one for my maxima, I'd get headlight covers made to mask off the clear only showing the red circles and have it painted to match my colour. Kinda replicating the skyline look. Hey, it's alot cheaper then 700+ for the original skyline assembly then to get it conveted to fit.

 

Hmnnnnnnnnn me like Altezza! HAHAHAHHAHAHAH! (evil laughter)

Why don't I just get some headlights from an E-Class and tape them to the front of my car if people are doing things like this.

 

(and I've made that known all this week )

but before we judge this guys car(the third gen) give him a chance to finish it before we say the final word on it....

 

It is actually Altezza lights for a Honda Civic del Sol. I have to say its a horrible fit.

 

right now it looks bad, but like he said he's not finished. I think maybe if he can somehow put a cover over them, and do some more custom work, it can look pretty decent.

 

Those altezza are from a Honda del sol tail lights. 3rd gen maxima dont have altezza so that pix is a custom fit, ( i wouldnt do that)
