Hey what's up? I have a 90' Maxima SE 5sp w/ leather interior. My leather on the **** of my shifter is all torn up. Do you know if & where i could get a new one to replace mine? Could you send me a link?

I think you could probably get another one from a junkyard. Also you could try www.copartfinder.com for one.

anyway, any autoparts store has universal ***** that usually fit; any afermarket parts store (nopi, carparts.com, any import shop) has *****; any Nissan dealer has the **** and I am pretty sure 4th and 5th gen ***** will fit as well (Anniversay Edition has a pretty nice **** so you may want to look in to that -search for it for pics)
also, check junkyards in your area

I had the same problem. I went to my Nissan dealer and they said I could order a new one for around $75.00 (I think). What I did instead was rip all the leather off of mine, now it is just a black plastic ****, but it doesn't look bad. Nobody notices it when they ride in my car. Also, the leather on my center armrest is cracked, but it is staying that way because Nissan wants $199.00 to replace that, and I would rather spend that dough on a perf mod.

 

They don't fit right for some reason. I like the way my Momo fits, nice!!!! BTW, what's up with the center armrest leather piece? I have an '89 SE with this, it sits higher than standard. My sister has a '90 SE and she doesn't have it, nor does another SE I've seen. Was this part of some option or what? It's where I mounted my motion sensor and I like the height of it. It's original on the car I'm sure, and I don't have leather interior! Anyone know?
