Cattman Anti-Sway Bar Torque Adjustemnt
Hi guys.
I got mine on May when Brian offered the discount, but I can't find the instructions that came with it, and I don't have a clue about the adjustments, can anybody post the Torque Adjustment for it?
Thanks.

I got it and there's nothing to adjust... are you talking about the "torque" pounds for the bolts?
cause it goes on to the same place as the OEM bar, nothing to adjust.. I did it myself so I know what it looks like under there...
just make sure you install it the same way the old one came off... there's a right way and a wrong way..

Sorry Tek-Niq, I admits that my English is not perfect.
I know that it goes in the same spot than OEM bar, but What I need to know is how much Torque do I need to adjust the bolts?, Bar was installed back in May, but I need to re-install it, so I will need the info to do it.
Thanks.

OK guys, I swear that the instructions came specifying the torque pound for the Bar bolts, but now I must admit that I'm confused, maybe it was the Toyota Solara's Anti-Sway Bar that I also installed at the beginning of the year, but I'm sure that one of both came specifying that.
Well, after seeing that nobody seems to know exactly I assume that then it was for the Solara not for the Maxima.
Thanks anyway.

Just to let you know the reason I will need to re-install is because my car at 8000 miles now is having a strange squeaky sound coming from the rear evverytime I go over uneven roads or the car jumps a little. The weird thing is that is my 2nd car in a row doing the same noise, only thing in common is that both of them had installed the Rear Anti-Sway Bar and I have used them after I moved to my new house in January 2004.
To get to my house I need to pass over 4 high speed reducer, I always do it very carefully, but for me is so strange that both of them have suffered of the same noise. Toyota never found the problem, they checked everything related to the suspension and eveything was good, so far my Max doesn't have anything suspension issues either.
So I'm begining to think that maybe this Speed reducer is affecting more than normal my cars. Problem is that I have a neighbor with another Max and he doesnt have a problems, another one have a convertible Solara just like the one I had, and he doesn't have the noise either, but none of them have changed OEM parts, Do you get the point?
Well, maybe it doesn't make too much sense to must of you, but for me that is the one that have experienced it is the only thing left to try. My first 6 cars, never had that issue, just the last 2, and maybe it's a coincidence but have been after I moved to this house.
