After the lawyers get their cut how much do you think will be left for the consumer? Likely near nothing in my opinion.

......and how much do those anti theft kits cost. I'm afraid to park in some places do to the fact of how easy they say they can be stolen.

The theft deterrent the article is referring to is the Data Dots program. I believe only the Northeast region was eligible for this since that is where the majority of HID theft takes place. It consisted of metal brackets to anchor the lights to the frame of the car and serializing the lights to allow for easier prosecution if someone is caught with them. I could be wrong, but I don't think this program is available for people to buy. Don't mistaken this kit with the $60 theft deterrent kit you can get at Courtesyparts.com.

The anti-theft kit has been made available to many other states since then, but NH is getting hit hard now. Anyone know how to push for the kit to be distributed here in NH?
