autozone.com has a lot of the content available online via their repair guides section. Not quite as nice as a local electronic copy of the haynes, but the information is identical.

I volunteer you to scan in all the pages and generate a PDF

Heck you already have the cover page done

I've got a scanner with a feeder at my office, but it only works if I tear apart my book.

for real? huh. it was a RAR file and didn't run in Adobe fore me. i'm sure it's cuz my computer > me, but i'm still surprised it didn't run.

In terms of detail yes, but for some, it may be easier to use the Haynes, depending on knowledge, ability, preference, etc.

I'm just glad that we have a good FSM that is easy to navigate through and isn't overly complicated. I have FSMs for my 2000 Passat and those drove me to buy a Chiltons/Haynes which has been so much better.
