Run a power, ground, remote turn on.

You can splice the signal off the Bose.

See if the basslink has high level inputs along with the low (RCA) that comes standard. That will determine what signal you are taking off the Bose sub

I got the kenwood model. I don't want a massive box because I use the trunk for my bikes in the summer. Dahons.

You could sound deaden your doors (look in the stickys for the how-to). It is supposed to give you clearer bass and of course insulate your car from road noise. I haven't dont it yet (soon my friends-when I get the sub), but many of the guys on here have. Maybe one of them will pipe up on their observations.

IMO the stock Bose system kicks. Best stock system I ever owned anyway.

More bass: A stereo shop can add an amp and sub box for you. (Spliced into the existing Bose system). That's more than a little bass though and can get pricey.

A little more bass: I dramatically improved my 05 SE system by having a shop add some sound deading to the front speakers, and the rear deck subs. I will go back soon to have them add some to the rear speakers too. And it didn't even cost a lot.

At the sub.
Look in your trunk, then look up.

Someone please chime in with the wire colors, I don't have that information offhand.

There will only be 4 wires at the Bose sub, power, ground, positive speaker, and negative speaker. Youll tap into the LOC there and it wont really matter as far as colors because youll tap both positives of the LOC into one speaker wire and both negatives into the other. Keeping the rest of the system stock, its not gonna matter, the LOCs inputs will still be in phase.

Why don't you leave it to the professionals? Just curious.

Line Output Converter. It takes factory speaker and converts it to RCA.

If your shop doesn't know how to install this without you telling them how, it might be time to look for another shop. The place the installed my MTX amp and sub box new exactly what to do. Tapped into the existing system and it was done.

If you're asking where the AMP is located, then you clearly do not know where the BOSE subS are located.

If you don't want to cut anything or tap you can access RCAs in the dash with PAC OEM1 Bose adaptor:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....1+Bose+adaptor

You WILL have to make a hole somewhere to power your amp. Warranty can only be voided if you damage something, not by installing something.

yeah, I wouldn't pay that much, and I sure as hell wouldn't keep the Bose hooked up. You may like it and it may be the best stock system you have ever had, but trust me, unhook it and get a good system. The Bose system sucks.

I have done this I have an 03, installed the amp, like normal, tapped into the sub wires just as kpr10si said, used a hi low converter from stinger, ran the rca wires to the amp, speaker wires to 1 12" Infinity sub in my trunk, all while keeping my stock BOSE HU, speakers ect, eventually I will swap all that out, but fo now it sounds awsome man, do it that way bro, it works well IMO
