I had this problem too. Take off your wheel and look for this plastic spacer.

You may need a wire brush to clear the grime off in order to see it. Once i removed it no more shaky shaky. Who in their right mind would put plastic in between the wheel and the car...

does it shake only between certain speeds? like 70 - 80? probably wheel balance then.

If the previous owner had aftermarket rims they may have required a centering spacer. That spacer would be made of plastic. It doesn't transfer any weight, it simply helps align the rim to the rotor.

that is correct about the plastic piece. also, go back to the place and tell them to re-balance your tires. If they said that they already have, tell them that obviously its the tires that shaking, either that or put new tires on. They'll glady re-balance the tires for you. if they try to charge you, don't pay a dime. When i have my tires on my aftermarket rims installed, i always say even though i know the answer, if it shakes horrible, i can bring it back to be re-balanced for free right? they always say yes and they jsut do it more carefully because they don't wanna be balancing the tires again. Sometimes they do it quick n mess up somehow, or maybe the machine was off or what not. Anyways, it's most likely the tires need balancing if you just got the tires n started to notice it now
