Pop charger has a velocity stack, so it wont be 'just like one'.

Not sure what gains if any a real POP would have over this, but it's not the same construction.

thats what I have. You will probably need 4 bolts to secure it to the MAF. and a bracket to keep the filter up off the fender and away from the battery.

Gains aren't anything to write home about, you lose some in lower end and gain it back in high end. But the sound on WOT is amazing with it! People infront of you will hear your engine revving up through your filter.

I did a search and was thinking, can I use the piece from the airbox, the gold maf adapter, flip it around and stick it in the filter. then I won't have to buy this and wait for it in the mail.

stick with the stock box. it doesnt do anything. if anything creates lag. stick with the stock box and if you want a little growl, just hack the side of the box.

or you could just drill holes in the bottom half of your air box while you wait, that will give you a similar sound for much cheaper.

Umm, there's a How-To in the STICKIES that explains that, you can use the bottom half of the airbox to hold your filter, and you can use the same 4 bolts that were used to hold the MAF sensor to the stock airbox. Check my cardomain to see my setup. I have to admit, I do regret buying it, b/c of the loss of low-end power and the suffering gas mileage.

Do you lose any low-end power with the hacked airbox????
