Possible SC upgrade questions

Ive had my supercharger running since this summer. I love the extra power and i was quite amazed by the gas mileage (about 25 mpg as opposed to my 26 or 27 before supercharging). Im am currently running only 7 psi but i would like to go down in pulley size, maybe to 9 or 10 psi. I want to keep it a little on the conservative side because of the worsening gas prices, and i like the idea of the stock fmu setup because it basically only gives you power when you want it. Anyway, my question is, with the basically stock setup (keeping the fmu), what is the max boost i could be looking at for minimum upgrades to the fuel system? I would rather not get into ecu tuning just yet. If you could, please let me know about your personal experiences, i am also curious to know the kinda of fuel mileage each some of you guys are getting one your different setups. Thanks!

If your using the Vortech Unit (FMU) you have the option to change out Disc Sizes to add more fuel to whatever pulley size you are using. You will need to contact people using the Vortech Unit, and find out what size is good to use. But remember, more air, more fuel, so you milage may suffer a bit.

Also, remember that the FMU is a coarse way to tune. To get a little better tune without too much work, wire in an Air Fuel Controller (SAFC or VAFC) and dyno to get a great WOT tune.

Your fuel setup has basically nothing to do with your gas mileage. How heavy your right foot is, is what determines your gas mileage. Any fuel system provides for extra fuel only when your engine needs it. At cruising it will be little different, if any, than stock, UNLESS you start mismatching injectors and ECU setups.

alright well thats good to know. i would get an emanage but that would take quite a bit of time and effort to get working right. i also like the idea of the ultimate, basically for the raised rev limit but i havent heard of much progress in that area as to actually getting it to work. as it is, ive gotta go on coop out of state this summer for school and i wont have much time at home to work on the car, so im trying to figure out the easiest way to get a little more out of her. thanks for the advice, ill try and get a hold of some more people before summer!

I believe the 3.25" pulley is the furthest you can take your stock injectors. I could be mistaken though.
