stange sound when I turn my wheel to left

When the steering wheel is turned to left I hear a crunk-crunk sound.
So I went to mechanic and He said I need to change the upper front left mount (be specific, mount bearing). It seems like it won't cost a lot.
However, he said my car has over 100,000 mile and suggested that changing the strut as well both side (right and left).
fixing the crucking sound, costs only less than $25 (changing bearing on left side). but after that I gotta do the wheel alingment (costs $80-$100).
So now I am thinking that changing whole suspension (front and back) or only front two sides.
is it ok that having aftermarket suspension (getting tokico illumina) on front and stock on rear? or when I change front, is it smart idea that changing rear as well?
Any suggestion? I will appreciate that.

I would put in struts if they are oem, with the labor involved it would be a waste to not out new struts in then. Don't put different ones front and back, just get all 4.
