PBR Brake Kit - Stillen

Has anyone used the PBR Big brake kit from Stillen? The one that uses PBR twin piston calipers and 13" rotors.

I was wondering if this can be pieced together using cobra calipers and rotors or is there a special bracket that is needed to bolt to the Gen 4 spindle. I am thinking about upgrading but the $900 or so they want for that kit seems a bit high. Thanks in advance.

Why not build a 300zx 4 piston caliper bbk w/ 13" rotors for $500-ish?

depends on what rotors you use and how expensive the calipers are

Do you need a special bracket for that set-up or will it bolt up?

Of course to a point. But are the rotors in the stillen kit 2pc? Doesn't look like it to me. So although YOU use 2 pc rotors, you can't really bring that to the discussion as it wouldn't be an orange to orange comparision.
But even with the cost of the 2 pc rotors, you could almost match the $950 price that stillen offers for their ONE pc option.

Well your stock rotors are 11.x. Now we are talking about 13" diameter rotors. Since the oem 300z rotors are 11.x" also, yes you will need my brackets and centering rings to run 13" cobra rotors and the 300zx 30mm 4 piston calipers. You will also need a set of conversion brake lines (most just get a new set of ss lines anyway) and an extra set of bolts/washers. No biggie.

The brackets/rings are available from me. $90 shipped. SS lines are available from Matt93se aka Blehmco. Rotors can be had from Automax

all i was trying to say that the price range should be higher because there are alot of different options and the 2pc rotors do go into the kit because they are 13 inch cobra rotors. so the kit varies from $500 ish liek you said to anywehre close to $1k all dependign on the products

All was trying to say, is why spend $950 on a 2 piston kit w/ 1 pc rotors when you can spend only $500-ish and get 4 pistons w/ 1 pc rotors.

The stillen kit does offer more wheel clearance as the pistons are on the inside.

If you want to include the 2pc rotors that's fine. But I'm not sure why you would want to specificly mention it when it's not part of the Stillen kit nor is it part of the suggestion I made.
