Opinion on bumper signals

I was interested in buying the clear bumper signals for my car and I was wondering whether the ish on ebay is the same quality as the more expensive ones on other websites. Common sense tells me that the ebay stuff is ebay quality, meaning bad and doesnt fit properly. Which ones do you guys reccomend. Thanks!

you have the option of

1. STOCK- orange.
2. ebay= black smoked ones or clears
3. painted them black- how dark of a black you want ?

^ those are the most inexpensive way you can go.

IMO the stock orange looks sweet on black (which i assume is what you have). Once I paint my car black thats what im switching back to. I think the black ones look the best on my current color tho

I have a black max but Im getting the smoked diamonds like NCSU Max. I will admit that the orange ones look good on a black max though. If you were considering keeping the orange ones, depending on how old your car is, you may want to purchase some new orange ones. I thought about this because mine are kind of not faded....weather beaten? Not see through like Ive seen some newer ones on Ebay.

Keep em on, I like the look. Your sig convinced me to get the clears. Just too much contrast with the stock lenses.

i think the law is that the light emiited has to be red or amber....if the light that shines through is other than that technically its illegal.....so basically all u can do is tint the lense but it also has to emit so much light being amber or red

i tested those lights after i painted...also i changed normal bulbs and put led bulbs..now it is much brighter...and looks almost same as before...

my car paiting is dark green..so i was thinkin how it would look with clear or black lenses..
i found some ebay..but not sure if i wanna buy it from threre..or are those the cheapest..

I have the DC clears, but I don't really like how they look with all the black accents on my car. Another member on the Toronto Maxima forum photoshopped those on my car and this is how it turned out:

What my car looks like with clears:

I think I'm going to get those smoked Ebay lights or just go back to amber...

Try tinting them, you never know how they will turn out.

Amber on your car would look ghey IMHO. The smoked look is hot on your car though. I'm thinking of swapping over to the black DC's this summer for a little change to match my AE'd headlights + corners.

The plastic plug that came with mine from ebay doesn't hold the light in anymore, and everytime I hit a bump the light falls out and dangles my the cable. It drives me nuts.

Yeah, I guess its too much of a contrast against the white. I think we're all going to end up with those black ones, lol.

Has anyone had trouble passing state inspection with the clear signals?
