Crap-steer at low speeds

At very low speeds (<2 mph?) or when standing still, its really hard to turn the wheel (compared to how its supposed to be). It's also a bit rough (jerky kind of). Once I get going though its fine again. What do you recon the problem is? Power steering?

What are you an old lady? <2mph lolz. You could also factor in that when you are moving at a normal speed, you have the wheels are already moving and covernig a lot pf ground which makes it easier to turn. When going slow you have to move the wheel while it tries to move forward. Does that make sense, because it made sense when I thought of it.

If its noticeable theres probably something wrong, but maybe just low on power steering fluid.

Sounds like either the PS pump is not producing enough pressure, or the internal valves in the rack are worn out. There's no whining or groaning from the PS pump when you turn the steering wheel? If not, it's probably the rack valves.

Check the power steering fluid level and the power steering pump belt tension.
