New engine mods for today!!

Well I bought a "nismo" grounding kit off ebay (I know it's not real nismo) and I am still deciding whether I want "imposter" mods on my car but it was cheap and I think it looks pretty good. I also met up with akaxmrxhammer and bought his Stillen FSTB and RSB. Installed the FSTB (RSB later) and reinstalled the stock plastic grill pieces (bottom of pic) for a nice finish. Then cleaned her up all pretty to show you guys (and for my own piece of mind)

Was going to paint the bracket black because they were kind of a gold/bronze color so I started sanding a bit and they turned a nice brushed silver...(pushed the "easy button" on that one)

Look at that CF damn!!!

Can someone come over and make my engine look that sharp?

Chern, Ramberg and JSmith - hottest engine bays I've seen.

I like!

Sweet mods.

What is the point of the grounding kit?? I've seen them in a few cars, but I don't know their advantage yet.

Here's what is said that they do, I haven't driven my car enough since I put it on to see if I notice a difference...

The Japanese have long been using a method called "earthing", where they take large gauge cable and connect it through various points in the cars engine bay to help the electric current ground itself for more efficient flow.
As tested by numerous respected tuners, magazines, and shops, a ground kit does what you want, add power. Results vary depending on car but here is the average results:

- 3-5 Horsepower increase

- Increased Fuel Mileage

- Better Electrical Current (Headlights Brighter, Stereo stronger, etc.

- Dress' up your engine bay!

Does your red top have extra terminals on the top of it?? Mine are off on the side. My "nismo" ground kit doesn't stay on the terminal too well. May have to find a larger one.

Engine bay looks sweet, as well as the rest of the car

No offense, but I wouldn't drape a ground cable or any wire/cable on top
of the intake tube, that part of the install looks like a rush job, while everything else looks good

As I said no offense, and you're welcome. if you can run that cable over to the fender, and then to where ever it goes, the install will look more professonal

I know I am taking a big risk of getting flamed for this... but what is the point of having a CF engine cover? IMO it doesnt fit with the scheme of the engine bay.

I understand I am looking at the top.

Maybe I didnt phrase my question right. With my red top. I can't install the ground terminal plate on the top, due to my negative cable must go there. His looks like it has 2 negatives up top.

Or am I not seeing this right?
