Why cant someone just help me out. I really need to know whats up with this. Its really bugging me. and I dont have 20$ to donate right now. That is so stupid you have to donate to search. very retarded indeed!
So what do I need to do to get my camber kit on, so i can take it to get an alinement so i can stop having hardcore camber wear.

Um, in case you didn't realize, the org isn't self sustaining. It costs MONEY to keep the webserver up and running and other administrative expenses. By having to donate to search allows everyone to get more out of it if you put a little bit in.

yes, the thing goes in the top bolt hole. loosen the bottom one, then turn and push until it's seated. easy enough.
If you can't figure it out, then make sure you got the right one and/or take it to the alignment shop with you and have the techs there install them for you.

i would let my alienment shop do it, but they do not install aftermarket parts anymore, and its the only shop here that will do an alinement for an affordible price.

i tried putting the bolt in the top hole, but the bolt goes in, and then the center portion wont cus its to fat. SO i dont understand whats going on. do i need to push the strut back? i really dont get this at all.

No shops around here install camber kits as i just said unless i want to pay 4 billion dollars to do it, well the cheapest place just to INSTALL a camber kit is 200$
other then that, the alinement shop charges 45$ for 4wheel alinement and WONT INSTALL CAMBER KITS!

at the moment im staying in georgia with some relatives near valdosta.
but im from pensacola beach fl.

Can anyone just tell me the catch here with this camber kit, im sure its the right one.
Does anyone have a link or anything to camber kit installation on a maxima. I can do it myself no need to take it to a mechanic, im just trying to figure out the kicker or what i have to do. Do i need to break out the dremil took and a drill to make the hole bigger? come on, i know at least a few people have to know but are holding back the answers.

Matt's instructions above were pretty much dead on. I've had trouble with them a little in the past, but try tapping it SOFTLY while rotating it.

And after you get it installed...take it to NTB, and be sure to tell them that it is there. They'll align it using the bolt, and they'll do it for the standard cost.

well the hole is not even close to being big enough for the camber kit bolt to go in.
also seems the strut and the hub have the same size all teh way through. so. wtf is this camber kit for! if the mother F*** wont fit? im confused. Its like the hole is only big enough for a standard bolt. is the camber kit like that ebay gas mileage saver just some corn hole rip off?

if you got a kit for a 95+ maxima, then the thing is going to be larger than the hole. 3 gens use a 12mm bolt on that hole while 4 and 5 gens use a 14mm bolt.

in that case, go find a 14mm drill bit (or 9/16", it's close enough) and drill that hole out to fit the camber bolt.

have you tried loosening the bottom bolt and wiggling the strut around yet like Matt suggested? If so then it does sound like you got the later model kit like Matt is saying in the above post.

yeh, but the actual strut, hole and hub hole are to small to even tap or hammer this bolt through.
its like trying to put a football in a garden hose. it wont fit.
