Blower Motor Noise

Has anyone looked at the TSB about fixing blower motor buzzing noise? It is only for cars that have the auto climate control. Well anyway it says to add some addhesive strips to the back of the blower motor. Has anyone done this, or know where the blower motor is?? My Max does make this buzzing noise and it annoys me. Any help would be helpful.

There is a cover that muffles the noise for that TSB. I believe I have one if you need it. I also have a blower motor for it.

what exactly is the cover or muffler thing that you are suppose to use?? can you just use regular foam strip things?

my personal response to two others were taking the fan out and spray wd-40 in it. put it back in and its fine now. some other people say some cover or something but what i did was fine. felt like it was grinding against the wall or something and getting out of place.

WD-40 didn't work for me. Bad bearings. Buy one at a junkyard and replace it. You have to take off the glove box to get to the unit. Search for more info. I've done the write-up seveal times for people.

exactly, me myself don't understand why they need a muffler to kill the bushing bad lubricant. Just remove the top nut and take wheel off by sliding it up, and then inject some wd40 into 4-6 holes on the motor shell, that's it. reduce the humming ticking noise by 75% or so.
