you should check out the detailing forum... i've seen stuff there.
anyway, the gist of it is you want to lightly heat up the pin stripe tape and carefully pull it off. it will probably be a pain to do now when its like barely 20 degrees outside. wait till a hot day in the summer... the sun will practically bake it off. i removed the gooey residue with some WD40. be sure to wash afterwards.

the best time to remove ur pinstrip is during summer, or wait until a hotter day to perform this job. here's what u need:
1. hair dryer
2. soft sponge
3. goo goo gone (or any sticky remover spray for ur car)
4. ur sharp fingernail
first... use hair dryer and heat up ur pinstrip... then try to use ur fingernail remove the pinstrip between each heated interval. be patient, it took me 3 hours to do the whole car. after that, use goo goo gone or ur spray to clean up any left over sticky stuff...lastly give it a car wash.
removing pinstrip is same as debadging...it's just time consuming. good luck.

You might find a piece of plastic like a credit card might help peel them off too (I used some plastic keychain the dealer had left on my keys at some point).. and just used some tar remover I think to take the residue off.
