I know everybody is hyped about LED's (as am I), and im not sure how many of you know about www.hi-tecdesigns.com yet. Ive known of them for a couple of years now, but havent really reached a point of purchase yet. I contacted them recently about the dome light bulbs and got a reply;

The pieces you're looking for are our Maplight Minis... they're plug-n-play units that replace the typical stock festoon bulb. Our standard bulb length is 31mm, but also offer 39mm, 42mm, and 44mm lengths (measure the bulb from tip to tip).

We offer $5/unit discounts on the Mini for bulk orders (10+ units) and would be glad to help out the Maxima group. If you'd like to give me a contact number, I'd be happy to discuss this in more detail after business hours or during the weekend.

Also, you may want to consider mentioning to the group that we offer custom products, as well. For example, the latest piece is an LED-based taillight replacement with several animatons for the S2000, something a number of S owners have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on. With enough interest and help from local Maxima owners, something similar could be copied over to the Maxima. Something to keep in mind...

Im just gauging interest in these for the supplier. Then he is invited to set up the group deal.

 

I know you're just gauging interest, but I believe the forum admins have some guidelines about how people set up GDs, so I would check with them before making any big commitments.
