Can you make an intake for a 5th gen

i was wondering if anyone has made an intake for the 5th gen 3.0

I think he means more along the lines of a custom intake like the GAB.

And yes some have. Some just get a MAF adaptor from ebay and put a cone filter on the stock mid tube.

i have a short ram intake for a 4th gen. and i was wondering if somehow i can make those parts work to make an intake for the 5th gen

short intake

i have a short ram intake from another car...
will it fit my 02 maxima or do i need to modify it.
its just a curved tube with a filter on it. and a hole for the maf sensor
if anyone could get me the sizes for the intake plenum that would be the only thing i need other than the size of the maf sensor

Honestly, without knowing what the other car was or seeing pictures of what you already have, there is no way for anyone here to answer your question.
