Short Ram VS. PR CAI

I know I have read a few writeups about this, but from actual people out there that have tried both.. what kind of increase/decrease/differance will I get adding a PR lower pipe to my short ram pipe that I have now?? Sound only? Performance? low or high? Noticable? Thanks for the input guys!

<sarcasm> ..a pipe in the middle? </sarcasm>
no seriously, I believe the midpipe is the pipe that I'm asking about adding to my short ram pipe, isn't it?

Actually, no. That and he already knows the answer to the question, he's just being facetious because the answer has been said a million times in other threads and he doesn't feel like giving you the answer.

Lesson learned

Short ram=loss in low end, maybe gain in high end and PR CAI=maybe gain in low end and maybe loss in high end.

i had 5 different intake setup in the past:

1. 3A racing pop charger
2. bomz CAI w/ real K&N filter
3. bomz short ram intake w/ real K&N filter
4. bomz short ram intake w/ gen 1 JWT filter
5. gen 1 JWT popcharger (current setup)

impression:
1. all sound no go
2. noticible low-end improvement, super laggy throttle response, "psssh......" sounds really cool at idle with a/c on
3. noticible mid-end improvement, better throttle reponse than CAI, engine sounds louder pulling from 3k-redline
4. same as #3, engine sounds even louder
5. smoother idle, noticible mid-end improvement, better throttle response than all 4 previous setup, engine sounds quieter.

Did you notice any gas mileage improvments of any? If so which had the most impact?
