Started driving my 5spd swap, no speedo?

Like the topic says, I get no speedometer reading while driving. Does anyone know off hand what harness this is and what wires I need to tap to retrofit it on the tranny? Can't seem to make sense of the FSM...

You will get a code for speed sensor if speedo is not working properly, I would look at the speed sensor and work your way back, it is on the top of the trans there is a picture in the I30 section thread "speed sensor location" not too old a few weeks. Not positive that your 99 isn't different from 96-97 I30 like that picture but it might help.

im pretty sure on mine it is on the "right side of the engine" front of the car and goes inbetween where the tranny connects to your bottom end has a little magnet with a wire harness plug...

if this is wrong somebody tell me but from what i remember onthe weekend that was it.

forget the freaking FSM for this, theres 2 harnesses on the 5spd, one is for speedo(sits on top of the transmission and has a white sleeve) the other is the park/neutral switch which is at the bottom of the tranny under the fill plug.... It has a grey sleeve with about 6 or 8 wires on it, the Speedo only has 2 I believe....
