Hi,when I purchased my Maxima about a year ago it came wit the chrome fender flares on it. I've been debating as to keep them on or not, but I cant decide. They look nice but there's just something about them, I dont know. Well, what is everyone's opinion on it? I have a pic. of my car below, it's not the best pic. but it'll do. Also if I do end up taking them off, is it something easy to do and do you think that the paint will be all messed up underneath? Everyone's opinions would be appreciated. Thanx!!!

I say....

take 'em off! IMO it gives the car a "tacky" early '90s look/fad! chances are a heat gun will help you get 'em off easy, but that depends on how the previous driver attatched them.

Ms. Cleo has spoken and she says that your future holds a screwdriver and some pliers and a few minutes of time. Once again, it is amazing at how correct she is.

I agree, I think they should come off...it's just something about them that I don't like...I'm not sure about the paint underneath..I have a question for you though. I've been looking for a touring wing for my maxima, and I went to wingswest.com and I wasn't sure which touring wing would fit...which one is that on your car, and about how much did it cost you? Thanks

Re: Re: I say....

Hi, Well I contacted Wings West and they told me that the 61" touring spoiler is the one that would fit. I didnt buy mine from them. I bought mine used. I know that they do paint them for you too. They had told me the pricing but I can't really remember it, sorry. I think it ranged from $250-$300 without paint.
