How well does this stuff work to fix a blown head gasket or cracked block?

A blown head gasket needs to be replaced, there's a reason it blew.
A cracked block, if it's even repairable needs to be welded.

Stay away from junk like that, repair the problem correctly the first time.
Honestly, do you really think pouring some liquid into your car will fix a blown head gasket?

It does say the fix is permanent. It seems worth trying...way cheaper than a new engine.

Guaranteed it will not be a permanent fix. Thoes head gasket repair kits that you pour into your engine are only temporary and will only last for about a week at most.
