Bad Old and New Door Hinge (56K Killer)

Well, this is what I get for listening to the goobs at the dealership. Since my door was sagging due to the busted brass bushing, I decided the $12.50 for each hinge (upper and lower) was a good investment. However, I did notice that the new hinges had a 25 stamped on them, while the old, original hinges had a 21. The parts goob ensured me that they were the same thing. Well low and behold, lookie here.

Here is the old vs the new.

A closer look.

After I do all of this to get the fender off (I had to replace the tierods anyway) . . .

I find that the new ones were the wrong ones after all! The new ones do not line up properly.

If you look at the first photo, the washer pattern on the old hinge shows that your new hinge is not that far off. IIRC, mine were like this when I replaced them. Just loosen up the door bolts to get it to line up.

Tried that. With these, there was no amount of adjustment that allowed the holes to line up. Did your new ones read the number 25 on them also?

No, they both had 3X stamped on both of them. The part #'s that I got were:
80400-85E10 and 80401-85E10.

I do remember having trouble lining the bottom hinge up.
