Ummm... do you mean the rubber stripping on the pillar or the actual pillar itself? Pics of the stripping removed are in the how-to in the stickies.

I also did remove the door pillar, I actually like it. But on the black car has barely no difference. use a blow dryer and you good to go. I'll try to post pics later.

I was curious about this as well. I have a pretty deep scratch that runs down my pillar, and am wondering if that will show up as a deep scratch through on my painted pillar?

I've got a Black SE, any point in taking off the pillars? Am I gonna notice a difference, and is it worth it for the amount of work?

Not to steal this thread...but is it possible to put the chrome piping around the windows (instead of the stock black piping) on an SE? How hard would it be?

yup its possible and not hard at all. I had to do it on my gle when I got into an accident. I bought an se door and transfered everything over.(chrome door handles and all piping.)

From far away I think it won't be noticeable but close up it probably look different.

Most people wouldnt notice the difference...only the people that know better, but i think it looks cooler.
