whats that little black plastic square on the front window edges?

ok, i still dont know what those little black plastic squares are, located just above the mirror on the front doors. i would think its the antenna, but why one on each side. what are those things?????

The antenna is in the back window...

Im not sure what the tabs you are talking about do, but I imagine to help remove the window gasket for replacement.

Lol so not true, yesterday at work i locked my keys in my car and that little black thingy made it easier for me to break in my car. Id go w/ the window guide theory.
