Can I tap into a wire and make the car stall when attempted to be started?

Basically, I want to have a hidden switch, w/o that the car would start and idle, but stall as soon as they try to drive away. I heard that it is possible to tap into just one wire in a 3d gen to achieve that. Which one?

why would you want it to start for them? I would think running a switch to the fuel pump fuse would be good enough, it would start and run for a few seconds then cut out.

a complex setup would be to use a normally closed relay in the ecu feed wire and have the relay connected to the brake switch so that when you press the brake it grounds the relay opening the circuit and cuting off the power for the ecu which will cause the car to die

Sounds like something Craig Brace has done . Is there a reason you need a kill switch this complicated or do you just want to do it for fun? Are third gens a hot item in your town?

Or just pull the fuel pump fuse, quick and easy.

There are far far better ways to secure a car

but if you realllly wanted to, TPS -> cut ignition

I wouldn't do it though

easier to throw a switch on the fuel pump 12v or even just spend $150, but a MSD box, and run a switch off that. Or just buy a good alarm as crazy as that seems.

TPS sounds good. I want them to get an impression that the car is not running, but not too soon.

power = drive
comfort = comfort knowing your car wont be going anywhere, unless the fools know how to use a switch?
