Cabin Air Filters for 5th Gen Maximas
Cabin Air Filters for 5th Gen Maximas
Sorry if this is a repost (I can't search) or if it doesn't belong here. I was just wondering when it comes to Cabin Air Filters, what does everyone go for? The only company I've found that makes the filters is WIX and they look exactly like OEM. Probably make them directly for Nissan. The price at NAPA is much cheaper at $39 compared to $59 at the Dealership.
In general is their any websites that I should look towards to get a good price for parts? Theirs only 1 or 2 dealerships around me and I hate going to them.

just as a side note - the OEM one can be cleaned and reinserted. The replacements cannot.
So if she has one in their right now I should be able to re-use it? Even if it's the older style filter?
Similar to K&N. All you have to do is bat it out a little (not too hard) then let it soak in some warm soapy water, rinse, dry then you are done. Careful, when I took mine out all kinds of bugs and leaves fell out everywhere.
