Gasket on EGR Tube

long story short I went ahead and decided to change the gaskets on the valve covers and intake manifolds. Little did I know that for a newbie like me I would run into some trouble with the IM plenum. There were so many hoses and I did not label properly

So I gave up when the sun has set. There is tube that the Haynes mentiones to detach. It is behind the IM close to the IACV. The book calls it the EGR guide tube and I believe it holds the some air temp sensor. Well NO WHERE in that stupid book it mentions that there is a gasket there. I did not notice it because of the poor visibility back there and the thing never fell to the ground or I would have seen it. Well after a couple of weeks a neighbor of mine, who is a mechanic, took 5 min to find my stupidity and another 15 to fix it and clean the throtle body and IM. Man I feel like a retard.

I can not find that part in any of the online parts stores. I am to assume it is the same as the EGR Valve gasket? Looks the same but can not tell the dimentions.

Its called the EGR Guide Tude. There's a metal gasket that connects from the tube to the intake manifold. The IACV has a paper like gasket. Your best bet is to call a dealer and tell him what you need.

It is a egr valve gasket, i got mine from autozone for like $5 I believe. It was a pain to get to and even worse to install.

Thanks for the input. My neighbor helped me and I am monitoring if the gasket did not break. If it did then you know replacement is the option. I really do not want to get back there again

Red RTV could work, albeit messy.
